Rev E.G Miller

Gidday from New Zealand,

I'm looking for family or connections of of Rev E.G Miller, Rector of St Baranabas Church, Cedar, British Columbia; around 1900. He emigated to BC around 1890, and married Emily Kirkham around 1893 in Victoria. They were both immigrants from southern England. There were three children - Gerald b 1893, Ellen b 1895, & Vernon Montague b 1899. Both sons died around 1920, one from drowning and another septic infection. Ellen may have also been known as Eileen, and may have emigrated to Tring, Bedfordshire, UK; living there in the mid 1970's. It is unknown what/where Rev Ernest George Miller and his wife Emily ended up.

Any information, photo's, stories, on the family would be of interest. Rev E.G Miller was the youngest of nine children to Arthur and Elizabeth Miller of Tottenham, London; and the only other child to emigrate (along with my schoolmaster/greatgrandfather to NZ in 1875).

Look forward to anything you might have...

Regards

Rick Miller, Nelson. NZ.
